Version 1.4.6 of Arrette Scale and Arrette Sketch for iPad have been updated to take advantage of the new capabilities in the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.
When you use the two devices together, you'll be able to create buttery smooth lines in way that has never been so natural and intuitive.
Additionally, for pro users of Arrette Scale, we've made it super easy to share your drawings with other applications. With just a few taps, you can copy your projects to Dropbox, Adobe Creative Cloud and other cloud storage solutions. You can easily copy and paste your drawings into creative apps from Adobe and other vendors.
Version 1.4.4 of Arrette Scale and Arrette Sketch for iPad have added initial support for the Adobe Creative Cloud.
With the latest release, you can now import base images from the Adobe Creative Cloud. This makes it easy for you to curate a collection of drawings, photos, and other base images for use in the designs you create through Arrette.
Also, we've created a shortcut to export your Arrette drawings into other apps: just use copy and paste! Open the Share Menu in Arrette and the preview you see in the window will have been automatically copied to the system clipboard. Switch to any drawing app that supports PNG bitmap images and use that app's paste function to place the clipboard contents into the document.
Version 1.4.3 of Arrette Scale and Arrette Sketch for iPad have been released.
Based on popular request, within the Grid menu there is a new toggle switch labeled Constrain Scale. When active, this causes the document to snap to fixed common scales as you zoom in and out. While everything you draw is "at scale" in the document regardless of the drawing scale, it can sometimes be useful to bring the document to a standard scale. For instance, if you are outputting your drawing to PDF you may want to set the scale to a standard scale. Or, if you are looking at something on screen as well as a printed plan, you may want to put them at the same scale for accurate comparison.
The scale intervals are customized for Metric and Decimal Feet units.
Version 1.4.2 of Arrette Scale and Arrette Sketch for iPad have been released.
